1.7.0

Description

The 1.7.0 Release will provide an Ecore Editor based on EMFForms and will ease the creation of EMFForms based Editors in general. 

1.7.0 will also introduce the use of UUIDs in view models and brings a new, yet provisional, ControlGrid view model element. 

Additionally, the release focusses on stability and consolidation of APIs.

API Certification

The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".

There is no known unresolved overlap with other projects.

Non-Code Aspects

The documentation will be kept up to date including description of new features. 

Usability Details

Fixed multiple issues with the IDE tooling reported by the automatic error reporting tool. 

Communities

The number of interactions with the community has increased in newsgroup entries, bug reports and contributions. There are regular blogs about new features of the project.
