Description
This release, scheduled to coincide with Eclipse SimRel 2020-03, brings significant enhancements to the provided snapshot implementations. Also, it introduces out-of-the-box support for source files backed by IFileStore and a method for accessing the annotation model of a buffer. We also took the chance to remove the outdated "LSP Example".
API Certification
The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
Architectural Issues
The UI API is still not as mature as the Core API and might need further polishing. The UI bundles are versioned as 0.12 to indicate a slim chance that their API may still change in a breaking way.
