MicroProfile 1.2 is our proposed JavaOne 2017 release (time-boxed releases). We are trying to line up the content to make a big splash at JavaOne.
The current committed content for MicroProfile 1.2 includes:
- Config 1.1 (slight update to Config 1.0)
- Fault Tolerance 1.0
- JWT Propagation 1.0
- Health Metrics 1.0
- Health Check 1.0
- previous content from MicroProfile 1.1
All of this content builds upon the microservices-based programming model introduced by MicroProfile 1.0 and 1.1. With this new release, users will be able to extend the capabilities of their microservices using defined specifications and APIs.
