Robert Young is a very active contributor to the Eclipse OMR project. He has been involved in the OMR project since before the code was open sourced. His involvement in the initial refactoring and early proof of concept prototypes was key to ensuring that the initial contribution was a success.
Robert has been instrumental is ensuring the delivery of the OMR build system moving the CMake from the older auto tools build story. This work has moved the project to a newer and regularly updated technology that greatly improves the consumability of OMR. Along with helping improve the Garbage Collection technology Robert has been involved in many of the OMR ports.
