Election for Jonah Graham as Project Lead on Eclipse Packaging Project

From the background, I was able to follow the progress in the past weeks, answered a few emails and questions directly here and there, and yesterday I was finally happy to see that the new EPP release could be published in time as announced.

Today I want to formally propose two perfect candidates as new project leads. They both want to lead the project as co-project leads, which in my experience in recent years would have been a better choice.
Both bring in a lot of experience from the Eclipse community and from other Eclipse projects, both are highly motivated, have new (and sometimes controversial) ideas, and have the energy to continue with this important project.

Mickael has been managing his EPP packages for many years, but beyond that he has always helped here and there, e.g. when a build problem needed to be fixed, or p2, Tycho or other technical challenges had to be solved.

Jonah was running the last release, and based on our background conversation he managed to automate many of the hidden tasks that I usually did in the past.

I'm proud to have such candidates!
