RCPTT IDE will be available in two forms:
- Complete RCP built for 5 platforms (Windows 32/64bit, Linux 32/64bit, Mac OS X 64bit)

Update site to install IDE into existing Mars installation
- When RCPTT IDE installed from an update site, it should also include an ability to test applications from sources (i.e. be able to use existing PDE launch configurations as AUT definitions)
Compatibility
All projects and test artifacts created with older versions of RCPTT IDE will automatically work with this new release.
Target Environments
RCPTT IDE will support JRE 1.7+ and work on Windows (32/64bit), Linux (32/64bit) and Mac OS X (64bit).
RCPTT Runtime will support applications based on Eclipse from Helios to Mars and requre JRE 1.6+.

For historical reasons and heavy use of internal API (especially from PDE and p2), RCPTT IDE is still based on Indigo.

Currently RCPTT Runtime heavily relies on 3.x compatibility layer

Currently diagram-related scripts are too verbose and hard to read
