Support for Eclipse Platform 2025-03 (4.35)
Open source for experimental RCPTT Server (formerly known as Q7 Server).
Compatibility
AUT installation is no longer launched in development mode ("-dev" argument). AUTs launched from sources (without installation, from PDE) are unaffected.
Target Environments
AUT
Application under test has to use:
- Eclipse Platform: 2019-06 or later.
- Java 17 or later
- RCPTT Runtime is no longer compatible with Java 1.8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Only Java 17 and newer are supported in AUT.
IDE
RCPTT IDE is installable only in Eclipse Platform 2025-03 and requires Java 21 or later.
RCPTT IDE is no longer compatible with previous releases of Eclipse PDE.
