Scope
Eclipse Ditto™ addresses the following aspects:
- Device-as-a-Service
Provide a higher abstraction level in form of an API used to work with individual devices. - State management for Digital Twins
Differ between reported (last known) and current state (live) of devices. - Policy based access control at all APIs
Ensuring that only authorized parties may access (read/write) Digital Twins. - Organize your set of Digital Twins
Support finding and selecting sets of Digital Twins by providing search functionality on meta data and state data. - Integrate with other back end systems
Being able to connect via AMQP, MQTT, Apache Kafka to other IT systems and push IoT data (e.g. changes).
