Eclipse Accessibility Tools Framework 1.4.0

ACTF is a framework that serves as an extensible infrastructure upon which developers can build a variety of utilities that help to evaluate and enhance the accessibility of applications and content for people with disabilities. A collection of example utilities will also be provided which were created on top of the framework such as compliance validation tools, assistive technology simulation applications, usability visualization tools, unit-testing utilities, and alternative accessible interfaces for applications.

Eclipse Amalgamation 1.7.0

This release will bring new views and editors helpful for a better integration of modeling tools:

- the activity explorer assisting the user in triggering a specific tool based on a defined methodology and the current state of the environment

- the contextual explorer easing the navigation in between model objects, the corresponding representations and/or other artifacts like documentation or source code.

Eclipse ATL 3.7.0

This release contains two major enhancements/bugfixes:

  • Improved parser performance through a generated ATL metamodel and the use of EMFTVM for model querying (Bug # 483199).
  • Regression bug where too many comments in an ATL header caused the compiler to fail (Bug # 488305).

It fixes some minor issues and ensures compatibility with Eclipse Neon.

Eclipse BPMN2 Modeler Project 1.3.0

This release wil focus on a better implementation of the "push-down" feature which allows the Activities, Gateways, Events, flows, associations and Artifacts (the "contents") contained in a Sub Process or Pool (the "container") to be "pushed down" into a new tab within the multipage editor.  This provides a better overview of a complex process by moving the details of a Sub Process or Pool onto another page.

Eclipse Code Recommenders 2.4.0

This release includes a new installable feature: Code Recommenders News Feed. This feature allows users to subscribe to RSS news feeds and be notified of new articles in their IDE. Moreover, it allows plugins to pre-configure news feeds to inform the user, e.g., about updates or tips and tricks.

Code Recommenders itself and Code Recommenders Snipmatch received only minor bug fixes in this release.

Eclipse Ecore Tools 3.1.0

This release will bring compatibility with Eclipse Neon, Sirius 4.0 and some improvements regarding the creation of diagrams from existing models:

  • the capability to display inherited references as nodes in an EClass

  • a new view "Contextual Explorer" to easily browse the model.

Eclipse EMF Diff/Merge 0.6.0

EMF Diff/Merge is a diff/merge tool for models. Its main purpose is to help build higher-level tools that need to merge models based on consistency rules. GUI components and sample higher-level tools, such as support for modeling patterns, are also provided. Typical usages include model refactoring, iterative model transformations, bridges between models or modeling tools, collaborative modeling environments, or versioning systems.

Eclipse Equinox 4.6.0 (Neon)

Eclipse Extended Editing Framework (EEF) 1.6.0

Eclipse EEF 1.6.0 will bring a brand new runtime and language in order to build your user interface. In this new version, the language will be less coupled with the metamodel of the user and with a similar approach as Eclipse Sirius, as such it will provide highly dynamic mechanisms to build an user interface.

This new approach will be based on an interpreted language, contrary to the old one which relied on generated code. You will also be able to use various kind of expressions based, for example, on the latest version of the AQL (Acceleo Query Language).

EGF (Eclipse Generation Factories) is a software factory tool with the purpose to generate software artifacts, such as code or application. Eclipse Graphical Editing Framework (GEF) 4.0.0 (Neon)

The Graphical Editing Framework (GEF) 4.0.0 (Neon) will provide:

  • Major (1.0.0) revisions of the GEF4 production components (GEF4 Common, GEF4 Geometry, GEF4 FX, GEF4 MVC, GEF4 Graph, GEF4 Layout, GEF4 Zest, GEF4 DOT, GEF4 Cloudio).
  • Service and Minor revisions (3.10.100, 3.11.0, 1.7.0) of the Draw2d 3.xGEF (MVC) 3.x, and Zest 1.x legacy components. Focus is on bugfixing only. All public API is preserved, binary compatibility is achieved.

Eclipse Marketplace Client 1.5.0

This release introduces the possibility for users to manage their Marketplace favorites directly in MPC, facilitating the new Eclipse User Storage Service (USS). For this purpose, a new Favorites tab is added, listing the logged in user's favorites. The existing "star" button will show the current favorite status per entry and will allow togging the favorite without leaving MPC.

Eclipse Packaging Project 4.6.0

Eclipse EPP 4.6 is providing the download packages for the Neon Simultaneous Release and the p2 metadata that is used by the Oomph-based Eclipse installer. It is based on Eclipse Platform 4.6.0.

In addition to that, EPP provides the Automated Error Reporting Logging component that helps Eclipse development teams to get notified about errors that occur at runtime in any Eclipse IDE. The EPP Logging component is included in all download packages.

Eclipse QVTd (QVT Declarative) 0.13.0 Neon

The prototype Epsilon QVTr to QVTc to QVTu to QVTm to QVTp via QVTs to QVTi chain has been replaced by direct Java code.

A couple of QVTc and QVTr examples work both using interpreted and code generated Java.

However the chain is not yet mature enough for more than experimental use; graduation to 1.0.0 must wait a little longer.

Eclipse Remote Application Platform 3.1.0

RAP 3.1 is a minor update in the 3.x release stream. It adds support for UIs with right-to-left orientation (as used in the Arabic world), and integrates an improved CKEditor from the RAP Incubator project. Additionally, the performance has been improved by extending the new on-demand change detection.

Eclipse Sapphire 9.0.5

Eclipse Scout 6.0.0

With Release 6.0 Eclipse Scout changes its platform from OSGi to plain Java/HTML5. The SWT and Swing desktop UI technologies are no longer supported by Scout.

On the UI side this move greatly simplifies the creation of state of the art web applications with full support of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript. At the same time modeling the user interface in plain Java is conserved.

Becoming a plain Java framework helps Scout on the backend side with simplified integration of standard Java technologies found in the IT landscape of business customers.

Eclipse Sirius 4.0.0

This major release will be part of Eclipse Neon (4.6).

Sirius aims at providing specific multi-view workbenches through graphical, table or tree modeling editors. Users can easily define their own modeling workbench, even with very little technical knowledge of Eclipse, while still being able to deeply customize it when needed.

Eclipse Subversive SVN Team Provider 4.0

Subversive is an Eclipse Team Provider for Subversion (SVN). Subversive is Technology sub-project. Release 4.0 will be available as a part of Neon simultaneous release. The goal of this release is improving of the plug-in stability, error handling, its level of integration with the Eclipse Platform facilities and enhancing SVN integration API constants with Java enumerations. The last one is the critical task requiring a lot of work and leading to breaking API changes, however it is very fruitful in regards of improving code quality and plug-in stability,

Eclipse Thym 2.0.0

Thym provides tools for Apache Cordova based Hybrid Mobile Application development. In this release, Thym has switched to use Cordova CLI directly to build and and plugin management in this release. This allows us to generate much more accurate build and plugin management and also allows the project to concentrate on the added value

This release also introduces support for Windows Cordova platform in addition to iOS, Android and WP8 platforms supported on earlier releases.

Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry 1.0 (Neon)

Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry (CFT) provide an extensible framework and common UI to deploy applications to different Cloud Foundry targets, and it is a framework that closely integrates with Web Tools Platform (WTP) and Eclipse. It allows application scaling and services management from the same Eclipse-based IDE where applications are developed.

This is the first release of the Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry project after moving from the Cloud Foundry Foundation. This release involves all the necessary work required for moving to Eclipse.
